WISEMAN STUDIO
Summer 2025
Design + Production Internship
At Wiseman Studio, I worked closely with David Wiseman and his team to support the design and production of custom artworks and architectural installations. My role spanned research and development for new concepts, CAD modeling, and hands-on prototyping across a variety of materials and processes. I collaborated with fabricators and designers in the studio to translate creative ideas into refined, buildable solutions.
Beyond design responsibilities, I contributed to critical studio operations including archiving, documentation, and quality control to maintain the high standards expected of Wiseman’s work. I also assisted with electrical components—wiring and assembling lighting elements for sculptural pieces—gaining practical experience with fabrication workflows and the technical requirements of high-end commissions. This experience strengthened both my craftsmanship and my ability to work within a collaborative, detail-driven studio environment.
THE GETTY
Summer 2024
Getty Marrow Undergraduate Internship - Interpretive Content
During my internship in the Interpretive Content department at the Getty, I supported the creation of visitor-centered experiences across both digital and in-gallery platforms. I helped develop interpretive content and user flows that make art more accessible and engaging for diverse audiences, including contributing to the Mood Journeys mobile app by selecting artworks, crafting prompts, and refining pathways designed to guide emotional engagement. I also participated in cross-departmental collaboration to better understand how visitors navigate museum spaces and connect with art on their own terms.
In addition to visitor experience work, I co-curated a special exhibition of ancient manuscripts alongside the Getty Marrow intern cohort—researching objects, shaping thematic direction, and writing interpretive labels. I contributed to planning and facilitating an arts summit that connected the Getty with local arts organizations, fostering community dialogue and future partnerships. Through these projects, I refined my skills in storytelling, collaboration, and public engagement within a major cultural institution.
MATTEL
Summer 2024
Future Leaders Innovating Play (FLIP) - Selected Participant
As part of Mattel’s Future Leaders Innovating Play (FLIP), I worked alongside cross-disciplinary teams to explore emerging innovations in play. This cohort focused on the integration of artificial intelligence into toys—examining how smart technologies could enhance creativity, adaptability, and personalized play experiences for children. I contributed to brainstorming, user-focused concept development, and research into how AI could extend the emotional and educational value of physical products.
A key emphasis of the program was navigating the ethical and practical implications of AI-enabled play, including privacy, data consent, safety, and ensuring imagination remains core to childhood development. The program culminated in a fast-paced design sprint, where each team was assigned a Mattel brand and challenged to develop a feasible toy concept with thoughtful AI integration. This experience strengthened my strategic design skills and deepened my perspective on the future of tech-driven play.
ASAMBLEA X HEWLETT FOUNDATION
Fall 2021 - Ongoing
Asesor/Consultant
I serve as an ongoing consultant for Asamblea, a collective dedicated to uplifting and sustaining the Sonoma County arts community. In collaboration with the Hewlett Foundation, Kimzin Creative, and On the Margins, I helped develop the Pa’lante Artist Grant—an initiative designed to provide funding, visibility, and structural support for local artists across diverse disciplines. My work includes shaping grant criteria, supporting outreach, and contributing to the program’s vision of equitable arts investment.
Beyond the grant itself, I help design and facilitate career development programming that nurtures both artistic practice and well-being. This includes workshops, resource guides, and community-centered events that offer artists tools for sustainable careers—from business education to creative health. Through this role, I’m deeply engaged in cultural advocacy and collective design processes that prioritize care, access, and long-term creative growth.
